Ever wonder what the surveyors are looking for in particular when you hand them over all of your devices that you've done your period testing on throughout the year? This regulation spells it all out:
Paper or electronic media records of inspection, testing, and maintenance are retained for at least one year following completion of the next occurrence of the same. Such records include the date, activity frequency, name & address of the property, name of individual performing the activity, name & address of approving agency(ies), and specific information pertinent to the activity as required by NFPA 72 section 126.96.36.199.
